Accessibility Statement
Blooming Arc Psychiatric Care PLLC
1. Our Commitment
Blooming Arc Psychiatric Care PLLC is committed to making our website and our care accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities.
Many of the people we serve live with conditions that affect attention, memory, processing, vision, hearing, or motor function. Accessibility is not a formality for us. If any part of this site or our practice is difficult for you to use, we want to hear about it and we want to fix it.
2. Conformance Status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines are the widely accepted standard for making web content accessible to people with a range of disabilities.
Current status: partially conformant. Partially conformant means that some parts of this site may not yet fully meet the standard. We are actively working to identify and correct those areas.
We describe our status honestly rather than claiming full conformance, because an accurate statement is more useful to you than an optimistic one.
Date of most recent review: August 25, 2026 Review method: Self-evaluation of the published site.
3. Measures We Take
To support accessibility, we:
Build the site on a platform that supports accessible markup and keyboard navigation
Write descriptive alternative text for meaningful images
Use heading structure that reflects the actual organization of each page
Choose text and background color combinations intended to meet contrast requirements
Write in plain, direct language and avoid unnecessary clinical jargon
Make sure content is readable and navigable on phones and tablets
Use descriptive link text rather than "click here"
Include accessibility in our review process when we add or change pages
4. Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some limitations remain. We list them here so you know what to expect and can ask for an alternative:
Third-party patient portal. Scheduling, intake forms, and telehealth sessions are handled through an outside platform we do not control. Its accessibility is governed by that vendor. If you have difficulty with the portal, contact us and we will complete the process with you by phone or in person.
Embedded and third-party content. Maps, forms, and other embedded elements may not fully meet WCAG 2.1 AA.
Older blog content. Posts published earlier may have images missing alternative text or headings that are not fully structured. We are correcting these over time.
Documents. Some downloadable materials may not be fully tagged for screen readers. We will provide any document in an accessible format on request, at no cost.
If you encounter a barrier that is not listed here, please tell us. We would rather know.
5. Accessibility of Our Care, Not Just Our Website
Accessibility extends beyond this website to the care we provide.
Auxiliary aids and services. We provide appropriate auxiliary aids and services free of charge to people with disabilities when needed for effective communication. This includes qualified sign language interpreters and information in accessible formats such as large print or electronic text.
Language assistance. We provide language assistance services, including qualified interpreters, free of charge to people whose primary language is not English. Please do not rely on a family member or friend to interpret for you. We will arrange a qualified interpreter.
Appointment accommodations. If you need a longer appointment, a specific time of day, written follow-up instructions, a support person present, a telehealth visit instead of an in-person one, or another accommodation, please tell us when you schedule. You do not need to provide documentation or explain your diagnosis to make the request.
Physical access. If you have questions about physical access to our office, please contact us before your appointment and we will give you specific information.
6. Alternative Ways to Reach Us
If any part of this site is not accessible to you, you can reach us directly and we will provide the same information or complete the same task with you:
Phone: (346) 826-9197
Fax: (346) 724-3404
Email: diweni@bloomingarc.com
Mail: Suite #1182, 7055 Old Katy Rd, Houston, TX 77024
You will never be asked to use the website in order to become a patient. Anything the site does, we can do with you directly.
7. Feedback
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of this site. If you encounter a barrier, please tell us:
What page or feature you were using
What you were trying to do
What happened, and what assistive technology or browser you were using, if you know
Send feedback to: diweni@bloomingarc.com or (346) 826-9197
Our response commitment: We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within 3 business days and to describe how and when we plan to address the issue. If a fix will take longer, we will offer you an alternative way to get what you need in the meantime.
Reporting an accessibility barrier will never affect your care, your standing as a patient, or how you are treated by our practice.
8. Your Rights
Our practice does not discriminate on the basis of disability. We comply with applicable federal and state accessibility and civil rights laws, including the Americans with Disabilities Act, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and Section 1557 of the Affordable Care Act, as applicable to our practice.
If you believe we have failed to provide accessible services or have discriminated on the basis of disability, race, color, national origin, age, sex, or religion, you may file a grievance with us at the contact information above.
You may also file a civil rights complaint with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office for Civil Rights:

You will not be retaliated against for filing a grievance or a complaint.
9. Ongoing Work
Accessibility is ongoing rather than a one-time project. We review this site as we add content, we correct issues as we find them or as they are reported to us, and we update this statement when our status changes.
10. Emergencies
If you are experiencing a psychiatric emergency, call 911, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), or go to your nearest emergency room. The 988 Lifeline offers services for people who are deaf or hard of hearing, including videophone access and chat at 988lifeline.org.
